Unlike other State Medical Boards which Mandate the FCVS
Process, Rhode Island acknowledges that FCVS typically takes 3 to 12
months to complete their process. As such, the Rhode Island Medical Board will
issue a full license to the Physician once everything, except the FCVS packet,
is received. Licensure times typically run between 2 to 3 months because of
this.
