With the
Georgia
Medical Board, MedLicense.com is averaging 2
to 3 months for
the issuance of a Georgia Medical License from the submission of the
application to the Medical Board to the issuance of the Physician Georgia
Medical License. Our firm has licensed Physicians in
Georgia since April 2000. In an average year, MedLicense.com will handle
between 40 to 60 Georgia License Applications. We understand the process
and what needs to be completed to have your application finalized. MedLicense.com
knows when to submit the Applications and in what order to help insure that
the Georgia Medical Board doesn't lose Applications. Our experience with
Georgia is such that we can push the process through and even see
licensure at the 30-40 day threshold.Whether you are a USA Graduate or a Graduate of a Foreign Medical School,
our process can move this arduous process through within a time period that
will meet you needs. Your involvement in the process is kept to a minimum,
with MedLicense.com handling the vast majority of the process. The fee for
our services is a one time payment of $549 (if you are practicing) or $459
(if you are in training) per State Process. Our packet is shipped to you
after a 5-10 min consultation. Sign, notarize, and proof your application
packet and then return it to MedLicense.com with the requested copies,
photos, and addendums. Then MedLicense.com will forward the completed packet
to the Georgia Medical Board. Then the certification process begins along
with the required follow up with the third parties and Georgia Medical
Board. Within 2 to 3 months of the submission, the license will typically be
issued. All that you have to do is start the process with MedLicense.com.

Concerning the Georgia Medical

Georgia Medical
Board /Georgia Composite State Board
of Medical Examiners
The Georgia Medical Board presents a process which other Boards
should emulate. The licensing time for the Georgia Board of
Medicine runs between 2 to 4 months. The physician's file is typically
completed between 4 to 8 weeks. The certification requirements are
some what standard. They are as follows:
| 1 -Medical School Transcripts |
| 2 -3 Physician Reference directly from the
Physician |
| 3 -All Internship/Residency/Fellowships
completed in the USA/Canada/Puerto Rico |
| 4 -All State Physician Licenses |
| 5 -All National and State Board Examinations |
| 6 -National Practitioner Data Bank/Healthcare
Integrity Data Bank |
| 7 -All Clinicals which were completed in the
USA (Foreign Medical School Graduates) |
| 8 -ECFMG CVS Report (Foreign Medical School
Graduates) |
|
|
The Georgia Medical Board does not have a 10 year rule concerning Board
Examinations and Board Certification. This means that the SPEX requirement
is not in effect. There is not a interview requirement as with other State
Medical Boards. Once the file/applications is complete then the Board can
offer the physician a temporary license which will be effective until the
next Board Meeting. MedLicense.com has licensed over 400
Physicians with the Georgia Medical Board. The Board is a pleasure to work
with.
